Penzión pod Barancom guesthouse is located at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level.
It is situated at the picturesque and calm southern hillside of Mt Baranec, near the gateway to Žiarska Valley. The magnificient Western Tatras have captivated a lot of visitors. Guesthouse is 12 km far from Liptovský Mikuláš to the northeast and 1.5km far from the gateway to Žiarska Valley.

Guesthouse offers unique accommodation in Liptov in two buildings connected with the corridor. In the main building there are eight Double Rooms (Extra Bed is possible) and two Apartments (three beds), all with TV and balcony. In the other building accommodation is available in Quadruple and Double Rooms without balcony but with fantastic Low Tatra mountain view. The guests can enjoy range of board games, Petang, badminton and card games for free. Two Bowling lanes, Billiard and Table Football are with additional charges.

Exterior of guesthouse is suitable for playing football with children, Children´s Seesaws, Playground Roundabout and garden arbour. Next to the entrance to the guesthouse there is a great wall map with the hiking trails in Western Tatras.
